These Terms govern your use of the Love Island Nigeria website at https://www.loveislandnigeria.com, operated by Group8 Limited of 5B Ayo Jagun Street, off Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria (“Group8”, “we”, “us”). By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
1. Eligibility and account information
You must be at least 18 to apply to take part or enter a competition. Voting eligibility is stated in the applicable voting notice.
2. Website content and intellectual property
The website and its content, including programme names, logos, designs, photographs, video, text and graphics, are owned by or licensed to Group8, ITV or other rights holders. You may view and share links to public pages for personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, alter, publish, sell or commercially exploit protected content without written permission from the relevant rights holder.
3. Content you submit
You retain ownership of content you submit unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. You give Group8 a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, store, review and use that content only to provide the feature you chose, administer your application or entry, investigate a complaint, or operate the website. We will obtain any additional permission needed before using applicant material publicly or in the programme. Do not submit material you do not have the right to share or that violates another person’s privacy or rights.
4. Acceptable use
You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, use bots or scripts to enter or vote, submit misleading information, manipulate results, upload unlawful or harmful material, or violate another person’s rights. We may suspend access, reject entries or votes, or remove content where we reasonably believe these Terms or the relevant feature rules have been breached.
5. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or embed services operated by third parties, including video, social, payment, hosting or delivery services. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices. Group8 does not control their independent operations.
6. Availability and liability
We may update, suspend or discontinue website features. We will take reasonable care to keep information accurate, but schedules, competitions and programme details may change. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that rule, Group8 is not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, third-party services or a user’s breach of these Terms.
